At Sweet Mass Production, quality is built one detail at a time. As an Epoxy & Stop-Off Technician, you'll work with precision to create beautiful, high-quality finished products by applying specialty coatings, color fills, and protective masking processes.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys detailed hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and has an eye for quality.

What You'll Do

As an Epoxy & Stop-Off Technician, your responsibilities may include:

  • Mix epoxy resins and hardeners to the proper specifications.
  • Perform custom color matching for customer products.
  • Hand-apply epoxy into intricate metal designs with precision.
  • Inspect parts throughout production for quality and consistency.
  • Identify and correct defects such as bubbles, uneven fills, contamination, or surface imperfections.
  • Apply protective stop-off masking materials to designated areas before processing.
  • Hand apply liquid masking compounds and specialty coatings.
  • Remove masking materials using approved solvents and procedures.
  • Maintain clean workstations while following all quality and safety standards.

These duties are based on your internal process documentation, including epoxy mixing, color application, polishing, quality inspection, and protective masking operations.

Individuals with backgrounds as nail technicians, cosmetologists, artists, jewelers, hobby crafters, or similar precision-focused professions often transition successfully into this position. If you enjoy detailed, hands-on work and take pride in producing beautiful finished products, we'll provide the manufacturing training.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday

Choose one of the following schedules:

  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Enjoy a 4-day work week with three-day weekends every week.
